Data card Rental (Flat-rate Plan)
In November 2009, we have started the rental service for data cards which could be one of the necessary items for your business tip to Japan.
The data cards you will rent from us are in a recent model or with a shape of USB memory sticks. Your lap-top computer will be connected to the internet while your stay in Japan.
Same services might be available in major JR(Japan Railways Co.) stations and in Shinkansen trains, however; most companies would require yearly contract. Economically, it may not be suitable for the travelers with short stays. The provider of this service for our data cards is Emobile Company, and you will be guaranteed to receive a good customer support.

特徴
- It is best suitable in the hotels, restaurants and offices where
internet services are not available or is charged. Also, while you
are in the middle of a long transportation in a Shinkansen train or a
taxi cab your computer is connected to the internet with this data card.
- Basically, it is a dial-up connection although it gives possibly the
the same speed as with a cable connection. You might expect the speed
as a littlte slower than with DSL connection. It is almost the same
effect as the images on a screen would ocasionally stop while you
watch YouTube.
- The cable connection with this data card would be available in the
entire Japan except in some remote areas. We are suggesting you to
check the places where you are expecting to stay would be in the

Conditions:
| Method of charges |
The basic rental fee is charged to your credit card before the data card is shipped out. The statement for the usages will be sent to your e-mail address in the end of the following month of your return to the States.
Simply, the rental duration is figured by counting from the day you arrive in Japan to the day you return the rental data card to the same agency where you receive it. In this process, the number of days could be one less than the real count. |
| Rental Charge |
You will be charged $10.00 per day(a minimum of 7 days required) for the first 10 days and $5.00 per day after the 11th day.
Sample calculation for the basic charge
Date of departure from the States: Jan/01
Date of arrival to the States: Jan/20
Data Card returened date: Jan/20
You will be charged from Jan/01 to Jan/19 for 19 days
$100.00 (Jan/01-Jan/10) + $45.00 (Jan/11-Jan/19) = $145.00
